Job Overview

As a Marketing Executive at Electra and reporting to the Marketing Manager, you play a crucial role in implementing strategic marketing communications campaigns aligned with our business objectives.

Duties of the Marketing Executive include:

Market Intelligence

  • Collect quantitative and qualitative data from marketing campaigns, analyse data and produce reports.
  • Perform market analysis and research on competition. Produce weekly and monthly reports.

Digital Marketing

  • Administer social media, develop campaigns and posts from the ground up, considering overall business objectives and audience. Assess and suggest innovative content according to the audience. Monitor and analyse results.
  • Maintain the website and produce new content regularly (copy and imagery). Look at data analytics, including SEO results and produce monthly reports. Make suggestions to improve the website results and take actions.
  • Make suggestions to improve the results of newsletters campaigns according to the business objectives.

Marketing Communications

  • Produce additional marketing communications tools (brochures, newsletters, videos, etc.). Organise products photoshoot and liaise with the team, designers and printers.
  • Produce design and content for various marketing collaterals (newsletters, website, blog, advertising) in line with the brand personality and tone of voice. Write and proofread the creative copy.
  • Produce design and content for the company Intranet and manage the monthly updates in line with Employer brand and Internal Communications calendar.

Assist the Marketing Team

  • Collaborate with the Marketing Manager on new ideas (campaigns, corporate gifting, etc.).
  • Supporting the Marketing Manager according to the planning of the department.
  • Supporting the Marketing Manager in the organisation of events (internal, external, industry exhibitions).
  • Be the main point of contact for the Marketing Department administration (orders, invoices, payments).
  • Other duties may be assigned to the Marketing Executive.

Knowledge & Experience:

  • +2 years of experience in marketing/communications/business.
  • Degree in marketing, communications and/or business and/or journalism.
  • Google AdWords and Google Analytics certifications are a plus.
  • Systems: MS office, design software (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), marketing software (CRM), Google Analytics, Word Press CMS.
  • Languages: English

Technical & Functional Skills:

  • Strong project management and excellent organisational skills.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of basic marketing and communications principles and tactics.
  • Good knowledge of digital marketing. Good understanding of digital data to be able to produce reports.
  • Knowledge of InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva to produce marketing tools is an advantage.

  • Self-motivated and proactive team player with a strong goal-orientation.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy, ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent English copywriting skills.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Good eye for design and creative mindset.
  • Familiarity with SEO is a plus.
  • Ability to constantly improve and optimise.
